We are a family run equestrian business which boasts over 70 year’s joint experience in this industry. We have been at Tudor Stud Farm since June 2009 and have completed a number of improvements since then. The last project being completed was renovation of the outdoor ménage.

Our livery packages start with DIY & finishes at Full Livery which can also include exercise. We truly believe in providing a service second to none. All the stables are mucked out daily & skipped out again in the evening. Horses not turned out receive an extra hay net at lunch time.

We are proud of the accomplishments that we have achieved at shows around the country with our show jumpers, including winning national championships, qualifying for the Horse of the year show twice & also the Charles Stanley British Masters.

We have an indoor barn which stables 26 horses and all the stables have rubber mats at the front. Each stable is 12’ wide & 24’ deep which makes it a lovely home for your horse. We also have a small indoor school 20m x 40m making is easy to keep your horse fit throughout the year. There is also fabulous hacking with minimal need to use busy roads.

We also produce a few carefully chosen young horses throughout the year which are usually offered for sale once competing successfully at shows.

DIY Livery

DIY livery is what it say on the tin. The owner is responsible for their horse. Mucking out, poo picking the field and keeping the water clean. We will proving hay and straw at an agreed cost.
The client has use of arenas indoor and outdoor. Arena’s must be poo picked after use and it is the horses owners responsibility. A barrow is provided in both arenas. As per industry standards, 1 months notice is required.

Assisted DIY Livery

Assisted services for DIY livery can be arranged to suit the owner. Starting with just putting a feed and hay net in when we feed the yard in the morning to turning out or catching in. Hay is included in the price. As per industry standards 1 notice months when leaving is requires.

Full Livery

Horses kept with us on full livery want for nothing. Stables are mucked out every morning and skipped out every evening, (they are also skipped out at lunchtime if in). All horses are put on walker every morning while being mucked out. Bedding and hay/haylage is included. As per industry standards 1 notice months when leaving is requires.

Sales Livery

We offer a comprehensive package to help people sell their horses and ponies when they feel they would rather not have to deal with customers.

For a daily fee we do everything. Starting with a few days to access the animals. Once we get to know the horse, an advert will be placed an on our sales page. We can also advertise on Horsequest (this is at an additional cost to the owner).

The horse is exercised daily. They are also groomed and washed so they are always looking perfect if a customer happens to pop in unexpectedly.

On completion of a successful vetting and sale we require 10% commission from the sale value.

Breaking & Schooling

We offer comprehensive breaking livery. Our yard renders itself extreme well with this service. Having a small indoor arena, horse walker and Olympic size outdoor arena. This gives us prefect facilities to start even the sharpest of horses.

We normally expect a horse to be sat on within 10 days and riding in the arena’s by the end of 4 weeks.

As we know all horses are different this is just a guideline. We will keep you up to date weekly on your horses progress.
